The Waterproofing Specialists

I had just moved into my new apartment – the first one I had ever bought for myself outright instead of renting – and was eager to make it my own. It wasn’t exactly a fixer-upper, but it definitely needed some work. One of the first things I decided to tackle was the bathroom. It was a decent size, but the shower I had in my old place was bigger and I’d grown accustomed to that luxury. It was clear that the previous tenant had neglected the waterproofing, as there was mould growing in the corners and the grout was beginning to crumble.

I knew I needed to waterproof the shower. I’d never been taught to do it myself, and I didn’t even know where to start. I knew I had to hire someone to do it for me. I searched online for bathroom designers. Melbourne had a lot of them, so I found a highly recommended company with great reviews. I gave them a call and they were able to come out and take a look at my bathroom the next day, which I thought was great customer service on their part. They assessed the situation and recommended a full waterproofing treatment, followed by a complete shower remodel.

This seemed like a lot of work and, initially, I was hesitant and worried about the cost and the inconvenience of not being able to use the shower for a few days. It was the only shower in my house and I did have to leave the house to go to work every day. But I had seen this company’s previous work online, and I knew that if I wanted my shower to look the way I envisaged it, this would be the tradeoff I would have to make in the short term. When the team got to work, they began waterproofing shower walls and floor, removing the tiles and installing a new waterproof layer to seal and protect the shower from any future leaks. I was thrilled with the results and felt confident that my shower would be protected from any future water damage. I couldn’t thank the bathroom designers enough for their expertise and hard work.
