Strange Car Noise

I’ve been working as a sales representative for the last five years. There’s actually a surprising amount of driving involved with being a sales representative. I rely on my car heavily to get from one location to another. I remember an old friend of mine who didn’t have a driver’s licence once asking if they too could become a sales representative. I told them that if you don’t have a driver’s licence, you might as well not even bother.

I’ve been using my current car for the last three years now and it has never let me down. I have however noticed a strange noise coming from my engine. This noise has become progressively louder in the last few days. As someone who knows next to nothing about cars, I knew it was time to book a logbook service.

I always hate when something happens with my car, because it then makes my job twice as difficult. I have to then rely on friends and family to give me a car to borrow, plus I always have to cut them in on a heap of money. If the repair is small, I accept it and bite the bullet, but I have had incidents where this has caused great problems. I once had a repair that took two weeks! It was hard being out of action with no car for that long.

I searched everywhere for the best car mechanic Moorabbin has to offer. After speaking to a few friends, I found a reputable mechanic in the area who had enough time to view my car as soon as possible. As soon as I dropped my car off, the mechanic spent ten minutes looking at the car and successfully identified the issue. Apparently it was something to do with the timing belt. They told me that this belt would need to be replaced otherwise it could cause severe damage to the engine.
